Born and raised in Chicago, Mista Ricksta began his DJ journey throwing house parties for his close friends in the summer of 2020. After gaining popularity from his parties, he made his official debut in July of 2023 for a party called, "Tengo Funk". Along with playing at some of Chicago’s most iconic music venues like Lincoln Hall and Concord Hall, he’s played in cities such as Orlando, Tampa, SF, and LA. Mista Ricksta’s sound embodies the energy of baile funk, global club music, house, reggaeton, dembow, jersey club, and juke music. Catch him spinning here at Simone's October 11th.
