Why are you named Simone’s?

Simone’s is a twist on the traditional name Simeon which means “hearkening”
(as in “one who hears”).

Since opening our doors twelve years ago, Simone’s has remained committed to providing a venue that hears the community. 

Uniting the neighborhood through music, conversation and art - our event calendar offers Pilsen a little taste of everything. 

While we may be entertainment driven, Simone’s is built on a foundation of accessibility and environmental and social accountability.

We strive to remain an affordable and environmentally friendly option to the Pilsen neighborhood, using 100% compostable take-out containers and offering a wide variety of reasonably priced vegetarian & vegan options. 

Did you know our bar is literally made of repurposed items? 

During the summer Chef Rafa grows bushels of herbs for the pizzas and salads, and sometimes you may even see our rooftop chicken taking a stroll on the patio!
